ABOUT THE TRIP
Your festive adventure begins in Helsinki, where elegant city streets, Nordic charm and the excitement of Christmas set the tone for an extraordinary winter escape. After settling into your luxury hotel, enjoy a warm three-course welcome dinner before beginning your journey north into the Arctic.
Travel by day train from Helsinki to Kemi, where the adventure takes a truly Arctic turn. Embark on an extraordinary Icebreaker cruise through the frozen waters and experience the thrill of floating in the icy sea in a specially designed survival suit. As night falls, venture into the wilderness on a Northern Lights trip, searching the Arctic skies for the mesmerising glow of the Aurora.
Continue your scenic road journey towards Rovaniemi and Saariselkä, with a memorable stop at the Arctic SnowHotel, where you can explore rooms and spaces crafted entirely from snow and ice. Then enter the magical world of Santa Claus Village, cross the Arctic Circle, meet Santa Claus and soak up the enchanting atmosphere of his official hometown.
Your Arctic escape continues at Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort, where you will spend two nights in a Kelo Glass Igloo. Combining the warmth of a traditional Finnish log chalet with a spectacular glass roof, your igloo offers the perfect setting to unwind, enjoy a private sauna and gaze into the Arctic sky in search of the Northern Lights.
Lapland then becomes your playground with a thrilling snowmobile ride, followed by a traditional reindeer safari and an exhilarating husky sled adventure through the snowy wilderness. These experiences offer a wonderful glimpse into the landscapes and traditions of Arctic Finland while adding an unforgettable sense of adventure to your festive journey.
On the final full day, sail across the Baltic Sea to Tallinn for a guided exploration of its historic Old Town, followed by free time to discover the city at your own pace. Return to Helsinki and immerse yourself in the city's New Year's Eve celebrations at Kansalaistori Square, where music, festivities and a spectacular midnight fireworks show create the perfect finale to your Arctic holiday.

✯ Snowmobile Ride : Learn how to ride a snowmobile and embark in an adrenaline filled immersive experience of riding these bikes on the snow. Enjoy the Lappish nature in this fun activity

Day 6 : 30th Dec - Reindeer Safari, An Arctic Adventure with the Huskies & Flight to Helsinki

✯ Reindeer Safari : Learn about reindeer herding, a main source of income for the inhabitants of Lapland, the Sami people. Head for a reindeer ride through a white snowy landscape

✯ Husky Safari: Husky dogs love running and can’t wait to get going! guide will provide instructions on how to stop, turn and drive the husky sledge pulled by several dogs. The sled is for two people. One person is seated in the sleigh, the other is standing and driving in the back, you can swap drivers halfway
