Many of the Town Wall’s towers serve as museums, while a few others provide opportunities for adventure for kids and teen visitors. This wall dates back to the 14th century. It is an impressive 1.9 km of the wall is still erect with 20 towers and it is one of the best-preserved city walls in Europe.

St. Catherine's Passage

St. Catherine’s Passage is a picturesque and unique walkway winds its way from Vene Street past the southern end of the Dominican monastery to Müürivahe Street. St Catherine's church, from which the alley took its name, is thought to have been built here more than 700 years ago. a number of handicraft workshops can be found here, in which you can watch the artists at work – creating ceramics, hats, glass and more

Listed in UNESCO heritage, the complex provided an overview of maritime trade, agencies, and navigation in the Middle Ages, as well as in the era of sailing, steam, and motor ships

The Town Hall Square is the historic heart of Tallinn. Surrounded by elaborate merchant houses and, in summer, packed with café tables, it's a natural magnet for tourists.

Toompea is a limestone hill in the central part of the city and towers over the rest of the city 

Explore the Toompea Castle has always been the seat of power in Estonia.  The Parliament of Estonia (Riigikogu) is based in the castle and is the world’s only expressionist parliament building with its expressionist style interiors. 

This spectacular, onion-domed structure perched atop Toompea Hill is Estonia's main Russian Orthodox cathedral. It's also by far the grandest, most opulent Orthodox church in Tallinn.

To get great photos of Tallinn, make sure to head to both the Kohtuotsa & Patkuli viewing platforms. Both of these platforms are located on Toompea Hill and are about 150 meters apart from each other.Kohtuotsa is on the eastern side from where you can see the Old Town`s rooftops and modern skyline in the background.Patchouli is on the north side of Toompea hill from where you can see the City Wall and towers, St. Olav’s Church and the harbor.
